CHANGEMAKER LEADERSHIP PATHWAY
Once you complete our signature Changemaker program, you can continue your changemaking journey through our Changemaker Leadership Pathway!

Through the pathway, we are building a community of changemakers who can uplift one another as they tackle social injustices in their communities and beyond. Our goal is to support our students year after year as they develop their leadership skills and make a meaningful impact on the world.
​
As part of their participation in the pathway, students can continue a project they've already started or begin something new. We simply provide the structure and support for students to make progress on their projects in order to achieve a successful outcome.
​
Another component of the pathway is joining The Changemaker Project's leadership team. You'll have a chance to take a leadership role in the organization, with projects such as mentoring incoming students, curating social media content, writing blog posts, editing videos, creating curricula, or any other role you design for yourself to grow as a leader as you support the organization and nurture future changemakers.
​
The pathway is an interactive journal-based mentorship program that helps students to reflect on their growth as they develop as leaders, and provides accountability for their ongoing project work.
​
Everyone in the pathway comes together each week for our 30-minute check-in call—an opportunity to share what's going well and what isn't, receive feedback and support, and help one another overcome the inevitable obstacles of the changemaking journey.
HOW IT WORKS

Continue an existing project or design a new project

Join a 30-minute check-in call each week with your cohort

Complete short writing exercises in your CLP journal each week

Receive support from your mentor who responds to your journal entries and helps you set goals for your project

Submit your final project for inclusion in our Changemaker Showcase event in June

Volunteer your skills to support new changemakers and grow the organization

Earn a new leadership badge for each year you participate in the pathway (badges include Vision, Empathy, Initiative, Confidence, and Resilience)
