At The Changemaker Project, we believe that education is the most powerful catalyst for change. We teach young people about social and climate justice issues, and galvanize them to act on an issue they care about in order to make an impact. By planting seeds of change in the next generation, we aim to build a more equitable, safe, sustainable, and kind world.
Examining the interconnectedness between the food we eat and its impact on the climate is a core component of The Changemaker Project's curriculum. We want our students to understand the impact of animal agriculture and factory farming on people, animals, and the environment—as well as the power of shifting towards a plant-based diet. We give our students the tools, mentorship, and funding they need to design and implement innovative solutions to climate change so that they can be empowered to create the change they want to see. We believe that a better future is possible—one student and one project at a time.
MINI-GRANT OPPORTUNITY
The Changemaker Project is offering mini-grants (up to $500) to groups of youth (ages 13-24) who want to take initiative in support of the plant-based food movement. Do you have an idea you'd like to act on but need some funding to make it happen? Submit your project plan here and we'll do our best to support as many innovative ideas as we can. Together, we can create a more sustainable future for us all. Together, we can #bethechange we wish to see.
