YOU WISH TO SEE

Join changemakers all over the globe in a design challenge to create a better world! Learn about social justice issues, gain tools and skills to solve them, and be part of a community of changemakers across the globe. We'll teach you everything you need to know to tackle big problems with innovation and creativity. Are you ready to be the change you wish to see?

PROGRAM DETAILS

The Changemaker Project is a four-year leadership development program that helps youth take action on issues they care about.

Every first Saturday, from Oct.-June, we host a 60-min live call (at 10am PST) with changemakers around the globe. You'll be part of a global community of learners with a mentor to guide you in your change-making journey.

First, you'll learn about real-world issues that face our planet (affecting people, animals, and the environment). Next, you'll decide on a problem to tackle with your team. Our course provides valuable problem-solving skills and guides you through Stanford's Design Thinking process to create a project that solves a real world problem.

Throughout the course, you will have the chance to connect and share ideas with students from all over the world, through both the monthly live calls and the online forum. Once you decide on a project idea, you'll create a short video to share at Global Pitch, where you'll have a chance to pitch your idea to win funding.

In May, teams submit their finished projects for a chance to be featured in the Changemaker Showcase—an opportunity to be honored for your innovation, hard work, and the meaningful impact you've made on the world.

participate independently

You can participate in The Changemaker Project as part of a school class or on your own! Click here to sign up to participate as an independent student (be sure to enter your own email when you check out, as that's where we'll send the course information).

The cost to register varies, depending on volume (discounts available for whole class registration, see teacher page for details) and date of registration. Individual student fees are as follows:

  • Early bird (by June 15): $25/student

  • After June 15th: $30/student

Due to financial constraints, partial scholarships are available on a very limited basis, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please send us an email if you would like a scholarship, and let us know what you are able to pay so we can give you the proper discount code.

Also let us know what school you attend, in case we already have a program at your school.

We can't wait to see you in the program and help you to #bethechange you wish to see!
